Upon completion of any orthodontic treatment with braces or Invisalign invisible aligners, teeth should be kept in this new perfect position for a while to make sure they do not move back.

There are few ways to keep teeth in their position using retainers. Retainers can be fixed or removable.

• Fixed Retainers: This is a thin wire that can be placed behind front teeth. They are not visible as they are hidded behaind teeth and they stay there for the duration of retaining period

• Removable Retainers: These type of retainers can be easily removed by patient to insure better hygiene. They can be made in clear way ( like Invisalign Vivera) which make them almost invisible.
